Joel Denke
Joel Denke · Stockholm · Remote
Senior Android Engineer
Joel is one of Coody's first consultants, a Coody veteran who has been coding his whole life. With the last 11 years within Android he brings deep expertise in Android development. He lives in Eksjö, one of the oldest wooden towns in Sweden, and loves everything about it: the calm countryside, friendly people and just the right number of stores. He shares his life there together with his partner and their dogs.

When he's not coding you'll find him on the golf course, taking forest walks with the dogs or watching great TV series.

He works fully remote and is currently an Android Engineer at Spotify. He primarily works with Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin in an AI-first environment.
What do you like about being part of Coody's team?
Being part of the Coody team means having the freedom to grow as a consultant while working with talented people who value quality, collaboration, and transparency. I especially appreciate the remote-first setup, which creates flexibility and trust while still maintaining a strong sense of teamwork.

Rohan Ganapathy
Rohan Ganapathy · Stockholm
Lead QA / Test Automation Engineer
Rohan joined Coody in spring 2025, and it quickly became clear that he’s a standout in QA and test automation.

From his home outside of Stockholm, he supports game teams with high-impact quality engineering while also working as a professional photographer and artist. Coody’s remote-first setup lets him stay flexible and spend periods working from Canada and India, where part of his family is based. At home, he’s outnumbered (happily) by five cats: Sylvester, Annie, Molly, Teddy, and Alice.

At Toca Boca, Rohan designs and scales automation frameworks for Unity games, with a strong focus on on-device execution, reliability, and developer-friendly tooling. He brings extensive experience from King, Walt Disney, and NetEnt to name a few, and is known for combining technical depth with practical delivery.
What do you like about being part of Coody's team?
I’m grateful for the kind of trust Coody leads with. It’s not “be online and look busy,” it’s “own the work, ship the outcome.” That difference changes everything. The remote-first setup feels genuinely gravity-free, less drag on the work, more lift for life. It’s how I can spend time working from Canada when I need to, without it turning into a special request or an apology tour. What I also love is the balance in the culture. There’s real engineering craft here, but the people are down-to-earth and human about it. Collaboration is easy, support is close, and you’re given space to build things properly, not just quickly. Whether I’m improving quality practices or scaling automation so it actually helps teams day to day, I feel trusted to do it with care, and judged by what’s delivered, not where it’s delivered from.

Daniel Spiers
Daniel Spiers · Stockholm
Senior Software Engineer
Daniel has been part of the Coody crew for two years. He lives in Uppsala with his family, including a dog called Linux. Outside of engineering, he's a big football fan and loves going to the stadium to support IK Sirius. He also enjoys reading the occasional sci-fi story and recording music.

At the moment, Daniel is on assignment at Visa, where he works on building and operating cloud-native infrastructure that supports large-scale Machine Learning products across AWS and GCP. Daniels previous assignment was as Backend Engineer and Cloud Lead at Sleip AI, a fast-growing scale-up using AI-based motion analysis to detect and quantify asymmetries in a horse's movement.
What do you like about being part of Coody's team?
I really appreciate the low overhead compared to previous consulting experiences. It makes a big difference, there is less noise and more focus on actually doing good work. I've also genuinely enjoyed every interaction with people at Coody. Even though we don't meet that often, the team feels close, and there's a shared excitement when we do get together. It never feels forced. Lastly, I like the straightforward, no-bullshit approach to compensation. Everything is clear and transparent, with no hidden costs or surprises, which builds a lot of trust.

The interview process

01
Online intro-call

We'll explore how good of a fit we are for each other in a 30 minute online intro-call. You'll here get an introduction to life at Coody and what we are expecting both in the hiring process and from our consultants.

Of course, you get the chance to introduce yourself to our recruiter and if stars align, this is followed up with a technical test that you do at home.

02
In-Depth Technical Assessment

The second step is where you meet with a group of our consultants to go through your test, discuss about code and maybe share your screen to dig deeper into your philosophy on technology.

This interview will be tailored for the role you've applied for and is followed by a reference check.

03
Behavioral and Assignment fit

The final step is to meet with our business team to go deeper into how good of a cultural fit you are for a life at Coody.

This is also the meeting where we align on your needs, wishes and desires to find you the perfectly matching assignment, for when you start working at Coody.

This meeting is hopefully followed up by an offer!
